This kinetic type animation plays through a 30-second scene from Wes Anderson’s Fantastic Mr. Fox, a stop motion adaptation of the children’s book written by Roald Dahl. In the scene, Coach Skip, played by Owen Wilson, quickly explains the rules of the fictional sport, Whackbat. The colors were chosen to mimic the warm autumnal scene on the field, and the typography to match Anderson's iconic graphic style. Along with the animation, I designed a poster for a Whackbat Championship hosted by the fictional school in the movie.
